With this system, you have three layers of product: Primer coat, build
coat, and topcoat. You can add paint chips and anti-skid as desired. While
some opt to simply use the 100% solids without primer or topcoat, we recommend the complete system. However,
topcoat is not needed if you are not concerned about UV or sodium vapor light exposure, or do not need added
chemical resistance. The 100% solids has very good chemical resistance itself.
Goes down and dries at 12-30 mils; self-leveling. (Because it is viscous, a primer is recommended to wick into the
substrate. Some choose to put a first, thin layer of 100% solids instead. It's your own decision to make.)
Options: 100% solids epoxy in CLEAR has excellent UV protection and is perfect for sealing stone, for decorative
filled floors, or where a clear floor coating is desired. separate pricing, coverage info!
Floors need to be prepared via diamond grinding, shot -blasting, or acid etching and power-washing several times
to neutralize. Vacuum up dust/dirt. Concrete must pass moisture test and be fully cured prior to product application
of epoxy products! (tape plastic down 24 hours... if moisture present, correct before applying epoxy products.)

About 100% solids epoxy:
(WHILE 50% SOLVENTS OR WATER BASED WOULD DRY AT ONLY 6 MILS. ) Many Epoxies are only 35% Solids!!! (make sure you are comparing apples to apples!) Supposed Top of the line products may approach only 70% solids. Most retail products will give you a 4 to 6 Mils in two coats. Budgetbob does sell water-based epoxies. Our 2-part, industrial grade water-based epoxies dry to 3mils, have good chemical resistance and durability, and are 45% solids.
